Howdy folks,

Shawn here - your trusty forum owner!

I'm very much into outdoor writing. I maintain an outdoor blog on a weekly basis that is monetized. I also post on a lot of outdoor communities.

I do freelance outdoor writing. I've written for Terrain Magazine, Wilderness Times, Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, and others.

I love hiking, cycling, camping, and kayaking.

I'm 40/male/married/Illinois.
